 Jireh Big Twin Covered Shocks

These 11" chrome covered shocks look great and are incredibly affordable, priced around $70 for a pair. They lower your bike 2 or more inches over stock and are easily adapted to fit the SS750 with some longer stainless steel bolts and washers from a local parts store combined with some WD-40 lubricant to remove the metal bushing inserts so they fit onto the bike. Cosmetically the chrome on these shocks looks deep and is well done. The full covers give the bike a very clean look. Unfortunately these shocks lack a bit of functionality on a bike as lightweight as an SS750. Being designed for much heavier bikes they pretty much do not move or absorb shock at all even when riding two up on the SS750. If you think of these not as shocks but as 11" lowering strut bars that look like shocks then you will be impressed, otherwise the stiff ride may let you down if you have any need for shock absorption. If you want to lower your bike and don't mind riding a stiff setup, these shocks are incredibly affordable and look great. They are a great option to have for the SS750, and because they are so stiff you can combine them with lowering brackets for a dangerously low rear end.
