These pipes have 3 parts. The header pipes, the header pipe chrome covers, and the muffler bodies.  The appearance of these pipes are a staggered fat-pipe look. The chrome on these pipes is amazing and because the header pipes have a 220 degree wrap around chrome cover these pipes will never blue. The baffles that come with these pipes sounds very mellow and mean but was a little too quiet for my taste. These are significantly louder than stock pipes so they may be perfect for you. I simply changed the stock baffles with aftermarket ones to remedy my needs for sound. I must also note that because these pipes come in multiple parts any one piece is replaceable from V&H should it ever be damaged. Extra features that can go with these pipes are quieter V&H baffles if need be, as well as numerous bolt on chrome Hot-Tips to give these pipes a custom one of a kind look. My only complaint on these pipes is the rear mounting bracket doesn't hold these pipes as parallel as I would like. The pipes are actually slightly off forming a small V type line not a big deal but I figured for almost 400 bucks these should have a better lined up rear mounting bracket. I am glad I purchased these pipes and would recommend them to anyone.
