Finally a comfortable seat option for the SS750 that doesn't compromise looks by being huge or too bulky. In the past your only comfortable seat options were either a seat way to big and wide for the bike or a seat that cost way to much. The front seat width of the daytripper is 12" and the rear seat width is 8" wide, perfectly fitting the width and curves of the SS750. This seat is a great cosmetic and comfort increase over the poorly designed stock seat for the driver, and a drastic improvement in passenger comfort. The quality of this seat is top notch surviving weather and outdoor Texas climate for years without a single sign of wear. Installing this seat was an adventure though. You will need to use the rubber mounting bushings from the stock seat. The mustang material comes pre cut for these bushings, but the holes are drastically too small. A process similar to plugging a car tire you have to force it. I recommend removing the metal insert from the rubber bushing, then fold the bushing and then push it in with an allen wrench. Then insert the metal bushing and you are ready to mount this seat. Be prepared for a bit of work to get everything lined up properly the first time. Getting the seat to line up and threading the seat mounting bolts was a headache. I recommend pulling the metal bushing inserts out of the bushing a bit to help the seat bolts to line up. Once the seat was bolted down I could really evaluate the look of the seat on the bike. It does a great job of following the lines of the bike and follows the frame and shape of the bike's width. The good news is that after riding on the seat for a while it settles allowing for easier removal and installation in the future. A final note, the looks and comfort of this seat is well worth any trouble and this price is fair enough.
